Room was exceptionally clean and location was unbeatable. Although beds were a bit hard, I had an excellent time here for 2 nights. There was a bathtub in the private bathroom. It was located in a shopping area to good eating options. I spent some time at Soho, they offer drinks and are relatively near the apartment...

waves exceeded our expectations during this celebrating birthday. the view of the sea and mountains, comfy beds and clean decor were perfect. having two bathrooms and a covered garage was a bonus. the location was quiet yet close to town. modern appliances and a full kitchen made our stay even better.

The free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV added to the comfort, while the outdoor dining area and beach access made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff provided VIP check-in and check-out, ensuring a hassle-free experience. We couldn't get enough of the stunning sunrise from the balcony. We'll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

I recently stayed at Waves in Kaikoura for a few days and it was absolutely incredible. The location is perfect, just a short walk from town and with breathtaking views of the sea. Our two bedroom apartment was spacious and clean, with two bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The double glazing ensured a peaceful night's sleep with minimal road noise. The covered garage was a bonus, and we loved being at the quiet end of town. our stay was relaxing and the accommodation was top-notch. We will definitely be returning.

Our stay at Waves On The Esplanade was incredible! We got amazing value for our money with stunning views, spacious rooms, and all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The staff were welcoming and even provided a small bottle of fresh milk upon arrival. It truly felt like a home away from home.

The morning meal could have been improved with some basic spices, oils, or condiments stocked in the kitchen. A little touch like this would have made our cooking experience even better.

The apartment had everything we needed, from a fully-equipped kitchen to a washing machine and tumble dryer. It was like a home away from home! The view from the apartment was absolutely stunning. We could see the beautiful ocean right from our window. The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable, which was a lifesaver during the hot weather.

Personally, I found the flat-screen TV a bit small, but others might still enjoy it.
